NOW AND IN THE FUTURE
Big news for Mill Valley Public Library
Starting this Saturday, the Library is launching a 6-month pilot to expand hours,
opening at 10:00 am on Saturdays (instead of noon) and 8:00 am on Thursdays (instead of 10:00 am).
Join The Mill Valley Library Foundation (MVLF) this Saturday (May 2nd) from 10:00–11:00 am for free coffee and donut holes (while supplies last), and enjoy having access to our amazing library
for more hours each week.
MVLF and our partner 'library support organization', the Friends of the Mill Valley Library, are jointly funding this important pilot project. The money raised by MVLF supports initiatives like this, along with supporting the children’s and adult programming and other services the library runs year-round.
About THE FouNDATION
The Mill Valley Library Foundation is a non-profit volunteer organization, which provides critical financial support to the Mill Valley Public Library including funding for programming and services, technology, and capital improvements. We are dedicated to a modern library that is an educational, cultural and literary center for all members of our community, now and in the future.
Since its founding in 1983, the Foundation has created an endowment of more than $5.0 million, which is used to provide critical and perpetual financial support for the library’s award-winning programs and other services, beyond what the City’s budget provides.
