Mill Valley Public Library Receives National Recognition for its Poetry Illuminated Project

We at the Mill Valley Library Foundation want to congratulate City Librarian Anji Brenner and her staff for receiving the 2020 Innovation of the Year Award from the Public Library Association (PLA). This award recognizes a public library's innovative and creative service program to the community. As Kristen Clark, the Mill Valley Public Library Operations Manager, said:

“At times like this, we believe that constant adaptation and innovation is what will allow us to keep serving our community under the most serious of challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic. That's why we're especially honored to be the recipient of the 2020 Innovation of the Year Award from the Public Library Association for our Poetry Illuminated Project."

While the Library building is currently closed during Shelter-in-Place, this fine institution continues to serve our community with its Library-in-Place resources and services.
