- “Author! Author!”
A special series featuring writers discussing their books and the creative process.
- Reading Day: A festive day filled with reading-related events and fun activities for children and parents.
Children’s Programs: Over the years, the foundation has sponsored a variety of children’s programs such as Babies and Books and Baby Steps Up. We are currently sponsoring the Young 2’s program which includes storytelling, music, puppets and finger plays as well as opportunities for parents to learn about and discuss child development.
- Other funding: The Foundation provided initial funding to start up the DVD and Books on CD collections. The Foundation has also purchased materials for the Teen Zone and provided supplemental funding for the mobile library service and other projects.
