Our library is a vibrant and inspiring center for lifelong learning, literacy, and community. In the last year alone, 30,000 patrons of all ages attended more than 825 programs here – compelling evidence that library programs are an increasingly important piece of the educational and cultural fabric of Mill Valley.
While all of these programs are free to the public, they are not funded by Mill Valley’s city budget, which is why we hope you will make a year-end gift of $100 or more to the Mill Valley Library Foundation and The Friends. Please join us in helping to fund programs that enhance the lives of thousands of children, teens, and adults throughout the year.
- First Fridays and After Hours Events - An ongoing series of thought-provoking, inspiring and entertaining performances and lectures
- Events for Young Children – Wednesdays on Stage, Sunday Specials, and other art, music and environmental programs throughout the year
- Teen and Middle School Programming – Expanded offerings for young adults including First Thursdays and Creative Writing Workshops
- New Technology – A new computer lab and classes, free downloadable e-books, audiobooks and more
We appreciate your support of our wonderful and unique library as we work toward serving the Mill Valley community for another century.
